Winter Clothing Ministry
For someone who spends the winter unsheltered on Raleigh’s streets, warm clothing offers not only comfort, but also survival. In fact, hypothermia can become a danger even in temperatures as mild as 50 degrees. Our winter outreach ministry provides blankets, coats, gloves, scarves, hats and other cold weather gear for men, women and children who would otherwise have no protection on the coldest days and nights.
Raleigh Rescue Mission partners with community organizations such as CarePoints, Wake County Public Schools, and DSS/Foster Care and more to distribute these coats and winter wear items throughout the Triangle as well as neighboring counties to those who need them most.
And whoever gives one of these little ones only a cup of cold water in the name of a disciple, assuredly, I say to you, he shall by no means lose his reward.
