We couldn’t be together last Mother’s Day, but this year we were able to honor our mom safely with a special luncheon. Cannon Catering provided an Italian feast of fettuccine alfredo, chicken marsala, salad, and sides. Our staff took refreshment orders, plated meals and served the moms as they relaxed and chatted around tables beautifully decorated with flowers generously provided by The Flower Shuttle. The roses, daisies, carnations, and greenery livened up the dining room and brought many smiles and praises. Following the meal, each Mom left with individual bouquets, cards from their children, sweet treats, and full hearts.
The influence of a mother is beyond measure. Each day she pours out time, attention, and love to her family, in hopes of leading them to bigger and brighter places. We recognize clients’ hard work and dedication often, but on Mother’s Day 2021, with the help of faithful supporters, we were able to show moms at Raleigh Rescue Mission just how much they mean to us.
