One Step on the Path to Self-Sufficiency
Thankfully, several of our clients continue to work at businesses that are deemed essential. Currently, the Mission is transporting them to and from work, in order to limit public exposure. Safe, reliable personal transportation is their next big step! It has a major impact on their ability to stay successful in their jobs. We’re happy to share that we assisted two clients in purchasing vehicles, and several other clients are on track to purchase cars soon. The Mission shares the cost of the car which gives clients the personal dignity of purchasing it with their own money while also getting some support from the Mission.
In addition, be praying for the men and women who are preparing to obtain their driver’s license. #GivingTuesdayNow is May 5th, and we’ll be rolling out some specific details on ways you can help support clients as they work hard to reach these important milestones.
